About
Navigating the environmental regulatory regimes under NEPA, CEQA and obtaining individual environmental permits to implement projects in California is challenging…that is where Buoyant Environmental, LLC comes in.
Partnering with clients to provide strategic and technical expertise to navigate required regulatory compliance under NEPA, CEQA and myriad regulatory requirements and processes related to large-scale water (i.e., reservoir expansions, pipelines, pump stations) and energy (i.e., traditional, solar [floating, photovoltaic, solar thermal, power tower] and wind [traditional, ducted turbines, energy kites]) infrastructure is my specialty.
I am proud of the contributions I have made to so many projects that benefit the people of the State of California and the communities that play a role in my day-to-day life. From managing multiple EISs and being a trusted advisor to the Palm Springs-South Coast Field Office and Renewable Energy Coordination Office in coordination with the California Energy Commission for seven large scale solar projects propelling California forward to meeting it’s Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards, to advising developers of novel renewable energy technologies, to leading permitting on the Phase 2 Los Vaqueros Reservoir Expansion Project, which will increase water supply reliability to south-of-Delta wildlife refuges, I have had the privilege to meaningfully contribute to these successful projects.
My goal is to continue to partner with clients whose projects provide overall benefits to present and future communities.
